You may have heard, on Monday July 20, the South Australian Electoral Commission decided to change the name of our federal electorate - from Grey to O’Donoghue, in honour of Dr Lowitja O’Donoghue.
Here’s a quick video that summarises the changes and why the Commission believed they were appropriate.
The name change doesn’t come into effect until after the next federal election in 2028, so until then we keep calling it Grey.
